He showed that the capacitor had no current running through it and asked for my approval before replacing it. The part he used even came with a 5-year warranty, not a cheap one you’d find on Amazon. He also cleaned up all the leaves around my AC unit — a thoughtful extra touch. The total cost was $185, including the diagnostic and the part — very fair for such honest, high-quality work.
